I spend a great deal of time in the field following and documenting the wild horses of Missouri.
Over time, I learn the individual horses, their personalities, family relationships, new foals, changing herd dynamics, and the difficult moments that are also part of their lives.
This work requires regular travel, many hours in the field, and the ongoing cost of fuel, equipment, website hosting, and maintaining the growing archive.

Your membership helps offset the real costs of documenting the horses, including:

My goal is simple: to build an honest long-term record of these horses and their lives.

I do not want this membership to become a content treadmill with material produced simply because a calendar says something is due.
