This gallery features photographs from my Wild Horses of Missouri project, documenting the free-roaming horses of Shannon County within the Ozark National Scenic Riverways.
The work grows from repeated field visits, patient observation, and time spent learning the individual horses, their families, and their lives.
Selected photographs are made by my hands in my darkroom as traditional silver gelatin fiber prints. My goal is to create lasting physical photographs that preserve the strength, individuality, relationships, and quiet presence of these remarkable wild horses.
Collector Information
Wild Horses of Missouri photographs are offered as traditional black-and-white silver gelatin fiber prints, individually made by my hands in my darkroom.
I make each photograph from a real black-and-white film negative using light, photographic paper, chemistry, and time. The finished prints have the rich blacks, subtle tonal depth, and physical presence that have defined traditional black-and-white photography for generations.
Prints are available in several sizes, from intimate photographs meant to be viewed closely to large 30×40 and 40×50 gallery prints.
Each photograph is made one at a time when ordered, carefully inspected, signed, and prepared for the collector.
Black & White Silver Gelatin Gallery
Available in sizes 8×10, 11×14, 16×20, 20×24, 30×40, and 40×50
Traditional silver gelatin prints are at the heart of this work. Each photograph is individually made by my hands in my darkroom from a real black-and-white film negative.
Smaller prints offer an intimate way to experience the photographs, while the large 30×40 and 40×50 gallery prints are made to have a powerful physical presence on the wall and to honor the scale, movement, and spirit of the horses.

Editions & Authenticity
Every Wild Horses of Missouri silver gelatin photograph is made and signed by me in my darkroom.
Prints from 8×10 through 20×24 are offered as signed open editions. The large gallery prints are produced in much smaller editions: 30×40 photographs are limited to 15 prints, and 40×50 photographs are limited to 10 prints.
Each limited-edition photograph is individually numbered and signed. Each edition is specific to that print size. Once an edition at a particular size is complete, no additional prints will be made at that size.
Certificate of Authenticity
Each 30×40 and 40×50 limited-edition Wild Horses of Missouri photograph includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
The certificate records the photograph title, print size, edition number, printing process, and date the photograph was made.
It serves as a permanent record that the photograph was individually made, signed, and released by me from my darkroom.
